Legal services provided by Ms. Van Oot and the attorneys at Old Capital Law Firm are limited to the areas of estate, gift and incapacity planning; estate planning for families with handicapped and special needs beneficiaries, asset protection and family wealth preservation, estate and trust administration; taxation; and Delaware Chancery Court petitions relating to trust and estate administration matters. Ms. Van Oot's experience in executive management positions with non-profit and social service organizations gives her special ability to provide legal services and advice related to governing and administering such organizations, including the negotiation and administration of contracts to provide services to public and private agencies. Another focus of Ms. Van Oot's practice is estate, tax, and incapacity planning for same sex couples and domestic partners in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
